UHF RADIO SOLUTIONS FOR SUPERYACHTS AND THE MARINE INDUSTRY

Seamless, reliable communications solutions are critical for enabling the crew of every vessel to carry out their on-board duties efficiently, effectively and safely. From ferries to freight shipping, fishing vessels to cruise liners to superyacht radios, we have been helping marine operators stay connected with two way radios and more.

We understand the industry’s unique communications needs. Vessel-to-vessel, vessel-to-shore and on-board communications all create different demands that require different solutions. Above all, marine and yacht communication solutions need to cover large distances and be able to withstand the rigours of life at sea. In an emergency, a handheld VHF marine radio provides a vital safety and security lifeline to crew and passengers.

Trust is everything. We employ teams of highly trained and experienced engineers who understand communications technology inside out. But more than that, they are skilled at listening to clients’ needs and in developing unique solutions to unique challenges.

MARINE RADIOS

We understand the specific requirements of marine radio users, which is why our radios have a number of features that are invaluable in the marine environment. Features such as emergency alarms, lone worker mode and compliance with SOLAS regulations make our VHF marine radios a superior choice.

SUPERYACHTS

Our engineers at Brentwood Communications are no stranger to superyacht radio solutions. We have conducted site visits all over the world in order to test, repair and install marine radio systems suitable for superyachts of any capacity.

PORTS AND HARBOURS

Ports are big, busy, bustling places that never sleep, port authorities require instant communication with dozens of different stakeholders coordinating the movement of goods and people, safely and efficiently, around the clock.  We are delighted to supply some of the world’s largest ports with marine radio equipment to keep operations running smoothly

DISTRIBUTORS AND SUPPLIERS

Marine industry distributors and suppliers spend numerous hours at port delivering and installing products or carrying out maintenance and repairs. This large supply chain supporting the marine sector also requires agile, reliable two way radio communications when working on site.

FERRIES AND CRUISE SHIPS

The giants of the sea, ferries have strict regulations to keep everyone on board safe, which is why seamless communication is so important on board. The best two way radios for cruise ships and ferries are always reliable, so at Brentwood Communications, we have ensured that they are able to stay connected, in the port and on the water.

FULL VESSEL SURVEYS

At Brentwood, we pride ourselves on ensuring complete RF surveys are carried out so we know exactly what VHF marine radio kit you will need to reach the coverage levels you require.

Our surveys can give you a clear representation of the final coverage you can expect to achieve onboard, once an installation is complete. We have many years’ experience in this field, which shows in our level of detail provided to our customers. We can also support existing radio systems installed onboard and help correct any faulty installations.

CUSTOM SOLUTIONS

We listen to our customers’ needs and develop them into our solutions. We regularly take on projects that are out of the ordinary and supply bespoke, custom-built marine radio equipment rather than off the shelf items to reach a better quality result for our clients. Previous projects have ranged from custom bracketry to entirely custom radio units built to specification.

SUPERYACHT AND MARINE RADIO SUPPORT

We know that finding support across the globe can be difficult, especially whilst at sea. Brentwood Communications fully support our Marine customers wherever they are in the world.

Our goal is to provide the optimum result for every customer. Every solution we deliver to marine clients is based on a full vessel survey, which provides the basis for creating fully bespoke solutions. We don’t see closing a sale as the final goal. In fact, once a system is installed, we like to think it’s just the start of our relationship. With a genuine commitment to excellent service and ongoing support, we are just a call away to problem-solve issues, provision new software, carry out tests and repairs on-site, or advise on system upgrades.
