Powerful, rugged, feature-rich and built to exacting design and quality standards, the DP4400e is a standout model in Motorola’s flagship digital radio range.

For several years, Motorola’s MOTOTRBO brand has been driving forward digital two-way radio technology with wave after wave of innovation and cutting-edge development. Now, with the latest DP4000e series release, Motorola has once again set new standards in adapting two-way radio to meet the needs of business and industry in the 21st Century.

The DP4400e is a premium quality non-display licensed two way radio boasting crystal clear audio, prolonged battery life, advanced data integrations and multiple worker safety protocols. With all the advantages of the latest digital technology channeled into combined voice and data communications, the DP4400e is perfect for deployment in large-scale industrial environments, for use by supervisors and coordinators and by skilled professionals across a wide range of sectors.

Compatible with the MOTOTRBO range of advanced software solutions, the DP4400e radio can be used in conjunction with advanced trunking systems to connect hundreds of users into a single network, with multi-site deployments where different radio networks are linked via broadband, and with multiple device configurations that allow interoperation between two-way radios, mobile phones, fixed line phones and more.

Motorola’s best-ever audio performance is delivered by the latest IMPRES powerful audio amplifier, intelligent volume control, SINC+ industrial noise cancellation, acoustic feedback suppression and microphone distortion control. The sum effect is, no matter what environment you are working in, the DP4400e series will compensate for background noise and deliver loud audio with a minimum of interference and crisp, natural-sounding, clear speech so your team members never miss an important message.

Data capabilities allow text messaging to be used when voice communication is not appropriate. Controllers can send tickets to individual users or allocate specific tasks to be completed, and make private calls to individuals rather than having to broadcast across the entire network.

Thanks to a redesigned responsive antenna and improved receiver, the DP4400e also boasts 8 percent better signal coverage than its predecessor, the DP4400. And the new IMPRES smart energy system offers a maximum of 28 hours of battery life. It is also a handset built to withstand day-to-day knocks, certified to exacting industry standards for shock, vibration and temperature extremes and with an IP68 rating for dust ingress protection and water resistance.

Safety features designed to boost the protection of staff working in hazardous environments include GPS location tracking, which helps to locate users on large sites when alerts have been issued from a particular handset. Man Down uses an accelerometer to detect falls, issuing alerts automatically, while Lone Worker is a monitoring system that requires users to check in with colleagues at fixed intervals. There is also a one-touch emergency alarm button that transmits interrupt options for making urgent calls.

Like most business class two way radios, the Motorola DP4400e requires a radio licence to access allocated UHF and VHF radio frequencies. We will make the application on your behalf as part of the purchase or hire process.
