Icom IC-F1000T

Icom has released three different VHF radios in this series, with the IC-F1000T positioned at the top of the range. It is a capable two-way radio with LCD display, and it also has a full keypad, including numerical buttons and program keys.

Thanks to its IP67 rating, this two-way radio is completely dustproof. The digital radio resists damage from water, powdered dust, mud and even complete submersion in water, up to depths of 1 metre, and durations of 30 minutes. Its large 3.6cm speaker provides superb audio clarity, and the optional quiet mode allows it to be used in practically any location.

The radio’s slim casing makes it extremely portable, and ideal for use alongside an optional belt clip (sold separately). Thanks to its motion sensor, an alarm will be raised if the radio is laid horizontally, such as after an injury or fall. The motion sensor can also raise the alarm if the user is jogging or running. Each unit also has an escalating alarm.
