The Hytera PDC760 multi mode advanced radio is a revolutionary DMR LTE hybrid device offering the ideal platform for critical voice and broadband data services. Part of the next generation of push to talk over cellular (PoC) radio, this feature rich handset with multiple connectivity options is the ideal communication solution for critical situations.
Featuring a built-in processor and 3GB of RAM, a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen, front and rear cameras and operating via a SIM card, it could be argued that the Hytera PDC760 has more in common with a smartphone than a traditional two-way radio. It connects via WiFi as well as mobile networks and supports a full range of advanced data applications.
But at the same time, it also makes use of traditional radio frequencies and operates as both a digital and analogue radio. With one-touch push-to-talk (PTT) functionality for voice calls across all modes, this radio can traverse networks seamlessly. As such, the PDC760 is recognised as the first PMR product to offer a truly convergent platform for critical communications via both DMR and LTE networks.
The capacitive LCD touch screen has a 800×480 resolution for easy viewing and ensures straightforward operation, even while wearing gloves. A separate quick-view top screen at the top of the handset provides useful information at a glance.
The screens are made from Gorilla Glass III, which as well as being incredibly tough, is known for being oil, fingerprint and scratch-resistant. This makes the PDC760 a great device for the most demanding and dirty working conditions. The rest of the handset is just as rugged and durable, with construction tested to MIL-STD-810 standards and certified IP67 for dust and water resistance, as well as passing a 1.2 metre drop test.
The 13MP autofocus cameras are ideal for surveying and other tasks, supported by in-built GPS positioning and capable of streaming and recording 4K HD video. The PDC760 also has a wide range of built-in sensors which include a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, 6-axis E-Compass, barometer, gyroscope, and accelerometer. Low energy Bluetooth provides secure wireless connectivity for accessories the impressive VM685 Video Speaker Microphone for media streaming.
As a product built for professional and mission-critical use, data security is also taken seriously. This device supports authentication and both software and hardware encryption to prevent voice and data theft.
Your work day won’t be interrupted by the need to charge a battery when using the Hytera PDF760, as the latest smart battery technology delivers 14 hours of battery life. This can be increased up to 20 hours a larger optional battery. When your power is running low, the battery can be fully charged in one hour. You can further optimise charging with high capacity power and charger options.
