The TE320 is a stylish yet solidly made push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) device that lets you take full advantage of global mobile connectivity. Matching the freedom to roam of modern smartphones, the TE320 comes with a dual SIM slot and supports 4G LTE bands around the world.

But unlike a smartphone, the TE320 is designed to meet the demands of the workplace. At just 230g in weight, handsets are lightweight enough to be carried around unobtrusively all day long. And with dimensions of 129x58x26.5mm, this is a device that can be held and operated easily in one hand.

The control interface plays a big role in how convenient the TE320 is to use on the move.

It features a rotating channel select switch for moving quickly and easily between call groups. Volume buttons let the user adjust audio to compensate for background noise.

There are two programmable buttons for one-touch functionality for chosen features, plus a dedicated SOS emergency button for raising an alarm with colleagues. And, of course, the tried and tested push-to-talk (PTT) button, a design classic for simple, instant communication.

The TE320 also features a 2”, 320×240 resolution colour screen. The advantage of having a screen on a portable comms device is that it lets the user see information like channel, contact and call group details quickly and easily. It also simplifies tweaking device settings and adding new apps.

The TE320 is also built to withstand everything that tough industrial environments can throw at it. As rugged and durable as it is compact and convenient, this model comes with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. It is also tested to military standards for shock and impact endurance, and can survive drops from heights up to 1.5 metres onto concrete unscathed.

As well as being tough, the TE320 is also a reliable performer in all environments. Powerful 3 watt loudspeakers give you the freedom to crank up the volume so you can still hear what colleagues are saying even when there is a lot of background noise around you. Moreover, dual microphone noise cancellation strips unwanted background noise from the signal so all you are getting through is the voice.

Finally, the TE320 is fitted with a removable 4000mAh lithium polymer battery that charges rapidly via a Type C USB port. This high capacity battery delivers exceptional operational time on a single charge – up to 48 hours on a 10/10/80 use basis. (10% transmit, 10% receive, 80% standby).
