Telox TE300K

The TE300K is a full-keypad push-to-talk (PTT) comms device that operates on 3G and 4G-LTE. Fitted with a Lugra SIM, you get the benefit of simple, reliable instant communication in a business-class handset with the seamless universal connectivity of mobile.

The sister model to the non-display TE300, the TE300K has many of the trappings of a standard two-way radio. The time-honoured PTT button for one-touch voice transmission. A channel select switch for scrolling between call groups. A powerful in-built speaker and external antenna.

To those, the TE300K adds a full keypad and LCD display. With the look and feel of a first-generation mobile phone, you can send text messages and quickly set up call groups – ideal for team coordination.

As well as mobile connectivity, the TE300K also supports WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS and GLONASS positional systems. Satellite location tracking and Bluetooth Beacon tracking are also great tools to have for team coordination, allowing supervisors and leaders to keep tabs on the movement of colleagues, and also to tighten up accident and emergency response protocols.

WiFi provides an excellent back-up to mobile connectivity, especially indoors. While cellular technology is great for the universal coverage it provides, it is still prone to signal drop out and areas where reception is generally weaker. This is a common issue when using mobile devices indoors.

But the TE300K is designed to handle weaker signal better than conventional mobile phones. It features an external LTE antenna – not something you will see on your average smartphone. An external antenna is more sensitive and therefore picks up reception with greater efficiency. Even when the signal is weak, the TE300K maintains communication performance reliably.

Talking about reliability, the TE300K delivers excellent audio quality in all environments. With 2W maximum power output, the in-built speaker is equally impressive in its volume and clarity, so critical communications can be heard loud and clear however noisy the environment is.

The TE300K will also work as long and as hard as ou do. The combination of a 3600mAh removable battery and a low consumption Qualcomm chipset delivers impressive battery life on a single charge. And as a unit, the TE300K is built to last. It comes with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance and passes drop tests up to 1.5 metres.
