Hytera VM780 Body Worn Camera Product Description

A top of the range body camera from Hytera, the VM780 exceeds all expectations. With features like advanced data encryption in transmission, LTE data connection, and the ability to make voice calls, the VM780 body camera is designed to capture robust, reliable audio and image evidence.

Combining a built-in body worn video camera, remote speaker microphone speaker, the VM780 eliminates the need for multiple devices and streamlines the user experience. While its allows you to perform video capture and share video in real-time, the option for instant communications can greatly enhance team collaboration and response. Used with the dispatch function, the VM780 can initiate one-to-one and one-to-many calls with other VM780s.

The HD camera supports instant image capture for seamless operation in all situations. The VM780 lens can be rotated vertically into flexible wearing positions for users to capture critical events from the most convenient angle. To allow for round the clock recording, it features automatic night vision which activates when it senses low light conditions.

Offering 3G, 4G LTE and WiFi connectivity, the Hytera VM780 can transmit on-site real-time video back to the command centre, allowing the dispatcher to see how events are unfolding in the field. The device can also record and store audio and video for use later, with 16GB of local storage. For both recording and streaming, this Hytera body worn camera features advanced encryption technology to protect captured evidence, complying with AES-256 (Advanced Encryption Standard) to ensure the highest level of security offered in the Hytera range.

The VM780 is reliably rugged, with testing to military standards and IP68 waterproofing. Able to survive a 2 metre drop and full submersion in water, this is one tough device that is able to thrive in the harshest of conditions. It is also built not to let you down when you need it most, with the ability to provide more than 9 hours of battery life for continuous video shooting with 720p resolution.

And in recognition of the fact that it isn’t just the device that faces risks in the situations bodycam users often find themselves in, this model features an emergency button that empowers the wearer to initiate an emergency alarm in mission critical conditions.
