The Hytera SM50M1 is a compact remote speaker microphone with 3.5mm audio jack for easy connectivity with analogue and digital two way radios. It is designed to be worn on a lapel for convenient user-friendly communication ideal for industry and high demand environments. The microphone is activated via a prominent push-to-talk (PTT) button when the user wants to talk. This accessory also supports voice activation technology on DMR radios, offering professionals in law enforcement, and emergency services a completely hands-free communication solution

The unit is rated IP54 for water and dust ingress and is designed to be paired with Hytera PD4 and PD5 Series radios. Though it is also compatible with a wider range of models that it connects to via a 9-pin connector.
