The Hytera PD785 is a high performance digital radio with full keypad and screen. Capable of communicating with both digital and analogue handsets simultaneously, this flexible mixed mode radio offers a vast array of functionality, including superior digital voice and data options, advanced encryption and emergency features.

On top of all of this, the optional PD685G comes with built-in GPS location tracking to provide an extra degree of protection in emergent situations.

Like all Hytera models, this professional digital two-way radio offers remarkable build quality that ensures outstanding performance over time even in harsh environments. With an IP67 rating, it is entirely resistant to dust and will continue working even after being fully submerged in water. It is also compliant with MIL-STD-810 military device standards for durability against impact, shock, temperature extremes and more.

GPS functionality means that if an alarm is triggered, colleagues can pinpoint where the alert has come from quickly using location tracking. And to keep sensitive communications secure, the PD785 features digital encryption on all calls.

Other extra features include Bluetooth, which you can use to connect to wireless accessories such as headsets with microphone and PTT for a hands-free experience. The PD785G also supports voice-activated VOX operation.

The Hytera PD785 boasts a total of 1024 channels, with selectable channel spacing across 64 zones. A highly flexible solution for large teams, capacity can be further increased via pseudo trunking and XPT extended pseudo trunking, Hytera patented digital functions that share call slots within channels to increase usage and dynamically assigns available frequency resources to increase the number of calls that can happen at once respectively.

The 2000mAh li-ion battery that comes with the handset as standard provides operation of 14 hours in digital mode. The PD785 requires an Ofcom licence to operate.
