Part of the Hytera PD5 series, the PD565 is a lightweight and robust DMR digital two-way radio that offers an economical digital migration option. Capable of supporting digital and analogue communication simultaneously, the PD565 can slot seamlessly into existing analog radio fleets, while supporting your move to digital mobile radio gradually and economically.
As a handheld radio, the PD565’s compact size makes it particularly ergonomic and easy to operate, and offers a high level of mobility in all working environments. It is packed with advanced features and boasts superior build quality for long-term durability. Voice calls benefit from a combination of noise cancelling technology and a powerful loudspeaker to ensure audio cuts through – ideal for manufacturing, events, hospitality and any other industries where high levels of background noise are standard.
This hard-working radio will last even the longest shifts on a single charge. The 1500mAH Li-ion battery achieves an operating time of at least 16 hours in digital mode.
The PD565 comes with a range of supplementary features. As a digital radio with a display, users can quickly and conveniently scroll through call groups and features. You can also send pre-programmed text messages stored in the quick text menu ready to send to contacts.
To help keep teams safe, the PD565 features an emergency mode that supports one-touch alerts. Lone Worker monitoring triggers a prompt if a handset isn’t used in a fixed period of time, and then issues an alert if the prompt isn’t responded to.
For larger teams, the PD565 is compatible with digital trunking protocols that multiply channel capacity so more calls can take place simultaneously. Pseudo trunking is a Hytera patented technology that shares timeslots to increase capacity, while Hytera XPT, or extended pseudo trunking, dynamically assigns channel resources in a fluid on-demand fashion without needing a dedicated control channel. XPT also allows radios to communicate across multiple sites.
The PD565 requires an Ofcom licence to operate.
