Hytera HP795Ex IIA ATEX Digital Radio

The Hytera HP79XEx IIA is an intrinsically safe (IS) DMR portable two-way radio. Certified to meet stringent IECEx/ATEX international standards, it is designed to provide robust personal safety protection and mission-critical communications to support workers operating in hazardous environments.

Featuring an IS circuit and long-lasting explosion-proof battery, the HP79XEx IIA is safe to use in extreme conditions where there are risks from explosive gases, combustible dust, or chemical vapours. Combined with a secure and durable body, superior audio, extended radio coverage, and advanced ergonomics for easy operation, this model provides a safe, reliable, efficient communications solution for workers in industries such as oil and gas, fire and rescue, aviation, manufacturing, and more.

The safety-first design incorporates an advanced mechanical structure which allows for even heat dissipation. Combined with the use of novel explosion-proof materials, the HP79XEx IIA can operate safely in temperatures ranging from –25°C to 50°C, even in the presence of explosive materials.

A high-grade battery protection board and battery lock avoid the risk of sparks even if the handset is dropped. The battery itself is a large-capacity intelligent IS cell.  Along with power-saving technology which reduces power consumption in stand-by mode, it offers up to 22 hours operation on a single charge. To maintain the integrity of the IS technology, there is an alert system which flashes a red LED on the handset if a non-original battery is inserted.

Further features intended to prioritise personnel safety include lone worker check-ins and Man Down automatic fall alarms. The HP79XEx IIA also comes with multi-constellation satellite location tracking, using the GPS, GLONASS, BDS and GALILEO systems for precise positioning to support rapid incident response.
