Description

Part of Hytera’s brand new BP5 digital business radio range, the BP515 combines enhanced professional performance with attractive pricing. Boasting dual digital and analogue modes, impressive signal range, high quality audio and durable construction, the BP515 makes for a reliable two way radio option in any kind of workplace.

The no-screen cousin of the BP565, the BP515 scores highly for simplicity and ease of use. Classic two way radio controls – a push-to-talk (PTT) button, channel select knob and function switch – ensure it takes a matter of minutes to get familiar with how the handset works, even for someone who is new to two way radio.

This simplicity is backed up by a light and compact design, with buttons thoughtfully positioned to make one-handed operation easy. Slimmer in profile than many comparable radios and weighing just 210g, the BP515 is also unobtrusive to carry around. Anti-slip casing completes a handset that from top to bottom is designed to make life easy for busy workers looking for a straightforward, no-fuss comms solution.

At the same time, the BP515 is more than just a user-friendly radio. It ticks plenty of boxes on technical performance, too. Primarily a digital two way radio, it supports both digital and analogue modes, making it a great stepping stone for upgrading your legacy radios.

As a digital DMR, the BP515 is compatible with your existing digital systems and terminals and comes with powerful digital features like priority interrupt and basic encryption. It also features an intelligent noise reduction algorithm that can eliminate unwanted background noise in three different ways. Paired with powerful transmission output and a 3W loudspeaker, this ensures excellent audio clarity even in noisy environments. There is also a feedback suppression feature that eliminates the annoying howling sound that can happen when multiple people are using a handset in close proximity.

Thanks to innovative design and engineering, the BP515 series has extended range in class. A high sensitivity receiving module and high-efficiency monopole antenna enhance signal penetration and achieve better call quality even in weak signal areas, as well as boosting communication distance by up to 11%. The monopole antenna has a unique thick screw thread design that increases radiation efficiency and ensures it doesn’t break and bend.

Long signal range is backed up by long battery life. Fitted with a standard battery, the BP515 will work for up to 16 hours on a single charge. It features a Type C USB port for convenient charging using standard cables, meaning it can be topped up from a mobile power supply if required. Rapid and efficient charging also means each handset is fully charged from 0 to 100% in just 1.8 hours, or will work for 10 hours after just an hours’ charge.

The BP515’s  integrated Bluetooth option also makes this version compatible with wireless earpieces and microphones, opening the door to completely hands-free operation without having to worry about wires getting in the way. BP515 handsets with Bluetooth enabled can also be connected to ‘beacon’ systems for indoor location tracking, a useful safety protocol in industrial settings like factories and warehouses.
