We currently have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our company as Business Development Manager. The role is based in Dublin but will involve some travel to visit the Groups offices, as the business requires.
You will be a driven and focused proactive individual with a talent for business development and sales. As a key role in our commercial team, you will be strengthening current customer requirements and bringing new customers onboard so must have a proactive and outgoing approach to your work. You will be an efficient and proactive team player. Your drive will be in selling the business values and getting the right result – making the sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve territory target and diversified revenue across multiple industries
- Maintain data within the CRM system, ensure it is up to date with contact details, industry sector etc
- Pro-active outbound sales activity with prospective customers
- Up-sell/cross-sell to customers, appropriate to their needs
- Strengthen customer relationships through regular sales contact and engagement
- Joint responsibility for first line response to telephone enquiries
- Nurture existing client relationships, building relationships with well-established accounts
- Maintain professional working relationships with colleagues
Experience and Skills Competencies for this role:
- Proven experience as a business development / /sales role preferential
- Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems.
- Cool tempered and able to handle rejection.
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Flexibility, commitment, and punctuality.
- Efficient – Able to produce output with minimal wasted effort
- Attention to Detail – does not let important details slip through the net or derail a project
- Proactive – acts without being told brings new ideas to the company
