Each resort had different needs – and no two solutions were the same. Brentwood concluded that the larger sites, with difficult terrains, should use digital Motorola DP3400 radios to achieve the desired coverage.

Robust, tough and water resistant. Their enhanced audio quality makes them ideal for use across wide areas; and their extended battery life avoids the need for frequent recharging. The ‘Emergency’ button enables staff to alert colleagues whenever they need help. To reach the remote areas at some sites, radio trials showed that Brentwood needed to boost the signal with a Motorola DR3000 repeater and antenna.

For the smaller resorts, Brentwood chose the Motorola CP040 as the best option. These analogue radios are durable; provide full coverage and excellent audio quality, without distracting users with complicated features.
